In June 2021, 42 pupils from the 7th and 8th grades of the Helmholtzschule Leipzig learned about the history of the VEB Buntpapierfabrik Flöha in several workshops that took place as part of the RESCUE project. They dealt with the stories of the former employees and the conditions at the time. With the help of collages, installations and storytelling, they created works of art and breathed new life into old names and objects. These were made with materials from the old factory.

After the workshops, Christin prepared their work for presentation. These were shown at the ibug festival in a dedicated room and online at – where you can find out even more details.
